Eclectic Guest Mix Series Cover Artworks

Sydney-based electronic record label eclectic asked me to design and animate 10 covers for their Guest Mix Series, united by a single theme.

I picked Dance as my subject. The act of dancing is 9,000 years old and has long been an outlet for inclusivity, unity and liberation from the daily struggles.

Art direction juxtaposes rigid digitally processed images of aluminium foil with ethereal photographs of dancers. This helped me make viewers feel like they were actually dancing to electronic music at a nightclub.

I have also produced a 30-second accompanying video to introduce the theme. The video features an unreleased track by Maxy Cozy.
