Mary Poppins Garden

In 2017, while walking around the London section of the United Kingdom Pavilion. On one of my visits to Epcot, Orlando FL. I came across the Mary Poppins character. The original shot was taken seconds before the character had to pose with the next tourist. Mary Poppins was later cropped and edited out of the original photo's background. Placed onto a new background, composed of 2 different Unsplash stock photos. The small white boat, in which Mary is so elegantly standing on. Was used from photographer Osman Rana's Unsplash photo. The majestic garden background was used from photographer Dave Hoefler's Unsplash photo. The first inspiration behind this piece was Oscar-Claude Monet's famous paintings; Impression - Sunrise, Autumn On The Seine At Argenteuil, Woman with a Parasol, Water Lilies and Japanese Bridge and The Artist's Garden at Giverny. The second was the garden painting scene from the original Disney film. This piece is homage to the expression, "patience is a virtue."
