Beyond The Deal (BTD) came to us for a TVC style promo film for their upcoming ASAP BioPharma virtual conference, that would play between each keynote speaker. BTD like to do things differently and stand out from the crowd, so whilst their competitors ads focused on telling their own story, we proposed a series of client testimonials that would be told from the horses mouth.
With a tight turn-around, between client availability and Covid-19 restrictions, we sourced actors to play the clients parts and deliver the lines in character. The concept was agreed, actors sourced, shot, edited and delivered all within two weeks.
As a bonus, we were able to get our hands on the brand new (and at the time, unreleased) Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K Super 35 Digital Film Camera. That’s quite the mouthful, but the key phrase there being 12K. Whilst we delivered the final files in 4K, the ability to shoot up to 12K (12,288 x 6480) on a project like this, is unprecedented.
