To promote the super deluxe edition box set of Cat Stevens' 1978 album 'Back to Earth ', Yes Please were commissioned to create this lyric video for 'Just Another Night'. The lyrics of this track express Cat Stevens' bitterness with how he was treated by the music industry. With this as a starting point we created a narrative about setting off on a venture with enthusiasm and optimism, but along the way becoming disenchanted and lost. In this video we follow the journey of a bird on a quest to find a place to nest and make a home. Starting out with optimism he travels, but as night sets in he tires and gets lost in the forest on the way. Eventually as the sun rises, he emerges from the dark to see a tree - a new day with a new beginning.
