Flame Fracture - The Keep

Inner and outer sleeve illustration and design for Flame Fracture's The Keep. Concept was an icey landscape, with an ominous tower holding dominion in the distance. A crack in the ground implies an impending end. The tower slowly evolved into resembling a fist. The close up of the ice shards started off as pieces of broken glass which I splattered with white paint, photographed, then manipulated further in photoshop with additional layers.
