Branding and Identity for the UK's largest jazz festival run by Serious. The identity was developed as a system inspired by music structure mixed with the colourful expression of jazz.
The graphic system was rolled out across many formats and even an invite for the Parliamentary Jazz Appreciate Group at the House of Commons.
The colours were separated from the gradients and used to denote each day of the festival within the brochure. The pages were split into 4 columns to evoke the 4 bars of the logo. Custom brochure holders were also designed and deployed all around London.
The colours were inspired by ROY G BIV and each colour was assigned a musical note to create a 'scale'. We used the E scale inspired by the corporate sponsor EFG.
