As England and much of Europe has been thrust into a second lockdown due to the resurgence of Covid-19 after summer, many individuals will be locking down with their friends and families. The rise of this disease has created a void in life with the majority of people being housebound now until the cases start to lower. Unfortunately, a minority of people including myself will be going through their second lockdown alone not knowing when they will be able to see loved ones again. a vast majority of these people will no doubt see a drop in their mental state and a disruption to a life they just thought they may have started to reclaim. With the feelings of loneliness mounting higher and higher, the mental health of many people will continue to be tested through such a harsh stage in life. Their houses that could have once been filled with laughter and positive emotions are now left barren, a prison with only one inmate and the ghosts of memories that haunt these empty rooms.
