Hi! I'm Acasea Lane a creative artist/designer wanting to expand my skills and gain experience while working on creative projects. I currently reside in the beautiful Whitehorse, Yukon. I have a varied skill set and have education in fine arts, and design as well as an almost a complete BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria. I have done everything from traditional drawing and painting to graphic design to sprite development in game design to photography and more. I would love the opportunity to work with you on creating something great.

My Education: My courses in post secondary have included Graphic Design, intro to Adobe Photoshop, intro to Adobe Illustrator, Communicative writing, English, Philosophy and Psychology. I have graduated from a foundation year in fine arts at Yukon SOVA in 2014 (school of visual arts). Yukon SOVA had courses such as 2D, 3D, and 4D studio, Art History and English. At University of Victoria I have also taken courses in drawing, color theory and art history and even one in game development/design.

Relevant Work Experience: I am currently working at Yukon College as the student engagement intern designing promotional materials for events and programs offered by the college. Last summer I worked at the Yukon Arts Centre (YAC) as the gallery and community engagement intern. I developed, taught, organized, and created ideas for children/youth outreach programs at YAC and other creative projects. I helped with advertising gallery shows and events and helped with gallery installation, maintenance, and promotional design of the shows and events. I have also done some free-lance commissions of fine art pieces and graphic design logos.
