Barbara is a filmmaker from Croatia, based in New York City. Her first feature film, "Aleksi" had its US premiere at South By Southwest this year, after winning Best Debut Feature at Belgrade Fest and opening Pula Film Festival (biggest and oldest Croatian film festival). She directed documentary TV series "Couch Surfer Girl" and a number of commercials, music and promotional videos for clients such as VIPme, T-Mobile, Cosmopolitan, Croatian Tourist Board, Podravka etc. Her commercial "Bound By Beauty" for Croatian haute couture designer B. Pavlin won 5 awards, and her short films "Mouth of Truth", "First Lady of Dubrava", "Into The Blue" and "Deer Boy" have been featured at Berlinale, Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand and over 200 other film festivals, winning 27 awards total.
