Hi,

My name is Icarus, I am a Freelance illustrator/concept artist looking for work.

My real name is Carike Cronje, I studied at The Animation School in Cape Town, South Africa. For that reason I am not only good at illustration, but I also know a lot about cinematography, storyboarding and animation, and have done work in those sections as well.

I have been freelancing since last year, and though it has not been for a long time, I have worked hard on all the projects I was given and on my private projects as well. My style ranges from cartoonish to semi realistic. The projects I have worked so far, includes creating a character/mascot for an online company, creating book illustrations for children's books and being in charge of the art style and animation of an indie, 8-bit game.

I my spare time I have created a few characters, worked on my style an started a blog to showcase my art.
