Hi there! I’m Jeff MacKinnon, and welcome to my website! A little bit about myself…

I’ve lived in California my entire life. I was born in the Bay Area, but moved to Southern California when I was just 10 years old. Growing up, I have always had a passion for film. I was able to bring this passion to life at an early age when I started shooting skateboarding videos with some friends in middle school.

In high school, a couple buddies and I shot a TV series where my passion for not only film, but producing was explored. I attended Brooks Institute of Photography where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Video Production, with an emphasis in editing, directing and producing. After college, I had the opportunity to work on set with multiple directors in Hollywood, enhancing my production and editing skills by working on projects with Red Bull, Animal Planet, ICV and MTV2.

Since moving back to the Bay Area, I’ve had the pleasure to work on media/production projects with CJ Web Designs, New Image Media, Rockshot Productions, AK Films, Amos Productions, (and more recently), working for Sony Playstation.

My current focus is perfecting my aerial cinematography skills, 3D mapping and everything to do with Drones.
