I am a freelance illustrator, interested in nature and environmental conservation. My work focuses on the relationship between nature and man and I enjoy using narratives to create a responsive set of imagery that engages the reader with ideas and concepts, rather than a didactic message.

My work uses mark making in an expressive manner, drawing on influences from the German Expressionists such as Kathe Kollwitz as well as contemporary illustrators like Andrzej Klimowski. This approach to illustration allows me to touch on the empathy felt for animals, developing an intimate relationship with the viewer which generates personal reflection and a deeper understanding of the subject addressed.
