Hi I'm Maartje Simons. I'm a animator, motion designer, composer and sound designer from the Netherlands. I started my career as a freelance drummer and played in several bands. Later I also started composing for film, documentary and animation. In one of my projects I needed animation and I decided tot make those myself. I felt in love with animation and since 2018 I'm animating as a freelancer and in a couple of cases I make the music and sound fx for these animations also.

My greatest passion is the combination of music and animation. I love making music videos (from concept to finish) and I love working together with other people. I first started to make paper cutout stop motion animations and now I also work in 2 and 3 D.
