Chio was born and raised in a town in the province of Málaga, Spain. She had a passion for arts since a very early age, but in her early twenties, while at University studying Civil Engineering, she discovered her interest in photography. A couple of years later she moved to London to study Photography and Film at The University of Roehampton and pursue her career as a photographer.

Chio has now years of experience as a professional photographer in a variety of fields. Her approach to photography is spontaneous and natural, trying not to influence or arrange what happens in front of the camera too much, she prefers to capture simple and truthful moments.
