Micaela is a Los Angeles-born London based photographer and filmmaker known for her colorful work that straddles the fine art and commercial worlds. Her experimental techniques challenge the notion of what an image is and further challenges the audience to explore their place in the world.

She studied her undergraduate in art and philosophy at the Université de Paris 1, Panthéon-Sorbonne, and is currently working on an MA in Contemporary Photography; Practices and Philosophies at Central Saint Martins in London.

Micaela has exhibited internationally, and her client list includes Rolls Royce, The BBC, Marriott, Pepsi, Refinery29, Adidas, and L’Oréal. Her work has appeared in publications including Condé Nast Traveller, I-D, Exit, GQ, Hunger, The Fall, Autre, & Office, among others.
