Theatre Maker and Designer

Tanya has worked in a design and technical capacity with Gecko, BBC, Fuel, Stomp, Gingerline, Tom Adams, Spymonkey, Polka Theatre, The Invisible Dot, Ensemble Amorpha and Rhea Thierstein.

Most of her recent work has been international, e.g. South Korea, Malaysia, Georgia, China, Kazakhstan, Mexico and Hong Kong.

She has been an Associate Artist for Only Connect UK, leading design workshops with ex-offenders and young people at risk.

Tanya is currently developing a devised performance, Pale Phoebe, with Joe White and Nick Crofts, which has been performed at Sprint Festival 2014 at Camden People’s Theatre: wearemoths.com

Other productions include Tim Key’s Masterslut, Melanie Wilson’s Landscape II, David Rosenburg’s Ring and The Roof, Inua Ellam’s Spalding Suite and Uninvited Guests’ Love Letters Straight From Your Heart.

Tanya has been a Stylist for The Motion Dance Collective’s film Frequency, 2014.

She graduated with an MA in Advanced Theatre Practice at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, 2013, and studied BA Performance Design at University of Leeds, 2010.

Tanya was a winner of the Francis Reid Lighting Design Award, 2010.
