Description 2

I am an independent graphic designer and art director with over ten years of experience working from my studio in south East London. I began as a regular freelancer for Village Green Studio working for clients including Island Records, Universal Music, K7, Fabric, Matter, B.F.I, Leo Burnett, Mother and Becks. After my tenure at Village Green I went on to establish myself as a small independent design studio specialising in design and art direction for music. I work very closely with Heavenly Recordings creating sleeves for many artist's including Temples, Out Cold, Cherry Ghost, Kid Wave and Jimi Goodwin. My work for Heavenly has earned me two consecutive nominations for the Best Art Vinyl award in 2013 and 2014.

As well as commissions for Heavenly, I have worked with Visionquest, Native management, London Electronic and I have also received commissions from Mama group to brand and art direct Somersault music festival. In 2014 I founded Hurry Up Harry, a T-Shirt company exploring the links between the humble public house and its roll as catalyst in British youth culture. Music, popular culture, graphic design, visual communication and creativity fascinates and inspires me. I am constantly exploring and developing techniques and ideas to expand my visual vocabulary and communication skills. Music plays a huge part in the creative process and new sounds always inspire new work.
