Julie Nguyen's start in the industry began with various internships at Live Nation, C3 Management, Paradigm Talent Agency, Spirit Music Group and more. While interning at C3 in 2018, she was offered a full-time position as a management assistant and working on marketing campaigns across artists such as Justice, Madeon, Shiba San, among others. This led into her role now as an artist manager at JET Management where she has been since the company was founded in 2020.

Our recent chat with Julie discusses her favourite campaigns and talks about the overlaps between visual creativity and music.

IM LOVING

We represent LP Giobbi and the creative around her album campaign is so fun and true to who she is as an artist. Everything from the single/album artwork (designed by Jose Berrio) to the visualizers and the merch coincide with one another and bring the music to life.

FAVOURITE VIDEO

Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now (Live in LA, 2019)" is one of my favourite videos. I love live performance videos (more so than official music videos) and this is a fun one to watch. The lighting + colors are captivating and the 360 camera shots capture the energy in the room so well.

BEST ARTWORK

LP Giobbi's artwork for her debut album 'Light Places' is stunning! The artwork was designed by Jose Berrio who did her previous single artwork and he is a genius. The full vinyl packaging is beautiful, can't wait to get my hands on it.

RECENT CAMPAIGN

I have the pleasure of working with San Holo and Eden Prince who both have fantastic tunes coming out this year including San's forthcoming album 'EXISTENTIAL DANCE MUSIC'. I'm lucky to work with such amazing artists and great people.
