Body of Earth

Motion graphics project “Body of Earth” was created by bringing abstract drawings on a timeline to tell a story of evolving forms as a praise to nature. In the midst of sixth mass extinction, humankind needs to shift in their paradigm. Spiral of evolution constituted by epochs of self-regeneration and organisation of nature; with or without humankind in prospect. Inspired mostly by water element and its flexibility, along every positive attribute we culturally associate with hygiene, fluidity and beauty; I began juxtaposing hard surface shapes and textures with the dynamic look of liquids in free form. I used footages from nature taken by drone cameras floating over seas, mountains and rocks. Those wide scale landscapes are composed with my drawings, the footage I used is modified and displayed in an abstract manner. I tried to personalise our Planet Earth pointing out with the word of body as a living being.
