Aston Martin "Soul of the Machine" VFX Reel

For the "Soul of the Machine" film directed by Mark Pellington, I was tasked with creating eight motion graphics/FX videos featuring the Aston Martin DB11. Using carmaker's video library as a jumping off point I designed a wide variety of visual approaches from commercial-style montage to graphic-driven monochromatic videos and my personal favorite where I employed a mirroring technique to distill the lines and flow of the car down to sculptural forms in motion.

The 8 videos were to be projected onto a ring of screens and would be mixed & tiled in real-time during an interview scene between 5-time Super Bowl Champ QB Tom Brady and Aston Martin Chief Creative Officer Marek Reichman where they discuss the DB11 from the perspectives of a driver and a designer.
