At rest (2020 - part 2)

A set of 8-10 hyper detailed A3 ink illustrations, originally inspired by a quarantine expedition to the local cemetery, exploring feelings of loss, abandonment, and isolation. The images are designed to make the viewer uncomfortable as well as prompt discussion about the things we traditionally consider 'beautiful'. Each illustration is being created slowly in single 10-hour sessions (with a few tea breaks) with focus and attention to detail.
