Despite the poor reception upon its release (the world wasn’t quite ready for sex, drugs, violence, and cinematographic distortions), this British crime drama has since been reevaluated in the context of director Nicolas Roeg’s other films and is now considered a cult classic. It tells of a London gangster named Chas (James Fox) who has a psychic collision with Turner (Mick Jager), a burned-out rock star, while on the run from a mob boss.

Advertising for the original release featured a close-up of Jagger, capitalizing on his fame as a Rolling Stone, however this key art instead references the enigmatic final scene in which Chas — or is it Turner? — must face his fate.
