Artwork and Animation for the re-release of Bombay S Jayashri - Shravanam

I've been commissioned by Kay Suzuki to create an album cover for the re-release of Bombay S Jayashri's album Shravanam. We've had great talks over the phone with Kay about the complexity and perfection of the music and how this could be reflected by the artwork. After almost settling on a portrait idea, we've realized her music should be visualized by rather 'precise' and asbtract forms.
