Theartofus collaborates with Channel Twelve, an immersive creative programme, to create a strong visual identity and to design and develop their website. C12 is aimed towards anyone of any age, background, location or culture looking to try something new or break out of their daily routine.

With a strong personality comes strong visuals. The brand personifies it's creator; Sam Furness. Full of energy and curiousity, motivated to achieve.

We needed to create an identity that captured that personality but also kept Channel Twelve contemporary and timeless. We explored dimensions, symmetry and the history and progression of television.

The images are in order of concepts, developments and final outcome.

Concepts

We started with sketching relationships between typography and shape in 2D & 3D. Including perspective and angles to influence our ideas and discover a unique outcome.

Developments

We developed ideas centred around playful character design, with expressions to suit each theme of the brand. Although fun, the idea didn't develop further as it didn't properly represent the sophistication associated with Channel Twelve.

Delivery

The final logo design is malleable and flexible, much like the brand. Creativity isn't about a singular, solid outcome. The logo can be warped to fit any print or digital format, moulding itself into its own visual identity.
