The Pinnacle Game Design Award was designed to be the ultimate award in the field of gaming and we delivered the winning pitch to deliver the work – beating four other competitors.

This project covered, event concept, branding, digital/web, exhibition design, indoor/outdoor large format signage, marketing collateral and event programmes, but unfortunately, it fell victim to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The organiser’s aim was to launch a ‘guerrilla’ game award to disrupt the established event organisers in their sector. It was presented as the ultimate award in its field as part of a new three day conference in London.

We collaborated with the organisers to develop a brand-style for the event and impactful marketing assets, as well as creating a bespoke trophy to be awarded to the winner. As part of the scope, we were tasked with the creation and development of:

Logo We designed the logo to be sufficiently memorable and flexible enough to be completely malleable to correspond with the theme of each year’s event.

Website — We implemented a ‘landing page’ designed to capture contact details, register attendance reservations and impart some background information on the event/award. We also began development of a post-event site, which would have acted as a springboard for building interest the following year.

Signage — Working closely with the organisers and their chosen venue, we applied the brand-style across multiple signage items. Items included: Exterior welcome signage; Directional signage; Seating plans; Hanging Banners.

Exhibition Services — As well as managing the creation of the award branding, we were also due to be listed as the ‘preferred design agency’ assisting the organisers in the venue set up where required.

Print Collateral — This included all marketing material to be distributed to attendees at the event and included: Event programme; Agenda z-cards; Conference ephemera (i.e lanyards, stationery, tote-bags, etc.)
