PEOPLE OF BERLIN

This artwork was created for DeepStitched Records, a proudly South African record label. I was tasked to create the EP cover artwork for 'People Of Berlin' by The Couch Bustards. The artwork was used online on streaming sites as well as promotional content.

As a South African, I wasn't that familiar with the history of Berlin as well as the speech sampled in the song. After research into those topics, a point I found important was that friendships, families and relationships, in general, were severed by the Berlin Wall. For the EP cover image, I played around with this idea of fragmentation that tested human relationships over all those years.
