Six animated music videos for DJ Format's Devil's Workshop album.

I was hired to make six music videos to reflect the dark, psychedelic, looping nature of his new 2021 album. I created all the visuals except the album artwork which I used as a frame on each intro and also with a kaleidoscope effect in After Effects. All ideas were inspired by looking at sixties psychedelic rock art and watching classic animations such as Yellow Submarine and Felix The Cat. All designs started as sketches with pen and paper. These were traced on my iPad where I used Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Animate (using my Luna Display dongle) and the animation feature in Procreate. Everything was imported into After Effects where additional animation and vfx were created.
