There are a few layers to this design all relating to the underlying theme of the album, focussing on the cycle of breath, which inspired the album title.

The symbol design was inspired by a combination of the throat chakra and Octahedron (platonic solid symbol for the air element) which both link to the breath and spirituality. The pattern design was created to represent not only branches of a tree but also the make up of the inner lungs, again representing the full cycle of breath.

Finally the combination of the outer blue tones and inner red colour link to the oxygenation of the blood as it passes through the lungs.
