Fatboys Cafe

Frankie's poetic homage to his hometown is set against Harvey's reflective melodic drummed-up visions of nostalgia and daydreaming. We used a mix of film to create a scrapbook of the artist's lives in Brighton. Long zooms were used to invite the viewer into Frankie and Harvey's world, whilst at the same time keeping us at a safe distance - before pulling them back in with intimate archive images and still life photography. The locations we chose represent significant chapters in the boys' lives — including the titular Fatboys Cafe.
