#AMCoVid project‍, music response project, artwork.

We would like to bring together musicians, visual artists, videographers, and comedians during this time of social distancing and isolation. We are setting up a project we are calling Abubilla Co-Vid that has 2 aims:

1) To allow those of us stuck in our houses and unable to create in our normal ways to connect and keep creating by commissioning collaborative work.

2) To raise money for the NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal by asking for donations from those who enjoy what is made in these collaborations. Our current goal is £500

There will be a series of these collaborations and this is the first!

Brief

We would like you to create a short piece (~ 20 seconds) to accompany a clip of music that we have recorded and produced at our studio. The piece should draw inspiration from, or be a response to the music and/or lyrics, but please interpret this however you wish! We are looking for variety and for you to put your own creativity into the piece, not to satisfy what you think we want.

All collaborations will be posted on our YouTube, social media pages, and website, with all artists involved appropriately credited and linked. We will happily write some info about you and what you do on our posts. You may link and repost these (in fact please do!) but please do not post pieces before we have done so, and please tag us (@abubillamusic) and include our charity donations link in your re-post.

We will be providing links by all posts for people to donate to a charity. We are recommending NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal, but if you have a strong desire for your video to be linked to a different charity, this is fine! Just let us know and we will set the links up.
