Maybe I'll Disappear

This is my second video for the one and only Matthew Ryan. This began by him giving me all of the tracks from an upcoming album and just said "tell me which one you want." I thought the drama of Maybe I'll Disappear would really lend itself to a fragmented breakup story, glimpsing police lights, faces behind windshields of a car late at night as the unknown unfolds in the distance. The actress was shot on a tiny greenscreen in my living room, and everything (including the car) was built from flat still photo elements. It is amazing what you can do in 2.5D (almost 3D) space.
