About My Brain

The client requested motion graphics to be used as backgrounds for chapter titles in a neuroscience documentary. The brief specified the style of the motion graphics to resemble atmospheric landscapes, simple in appearance and with minimal movement. They were looking for two distinct forms that would represent the business as well as the human perspective.

The project was split into two parts - my colleague, Maxim Takacs took on the creation of the forms representing the business, while I created the forms representing the human aspect.

Using organic forms, I created landscapes that would reference the basic working unit of the brain, the neuron - a specialised cell designed to transmit information to other nerve cells.

While utilizing the branding and colour ways that adhered to About My Brain Institute, I created 4 motion graphics videos featured below.
