BITTER WEATHER is a music video film project which was originally conceived as an opportunity for collaborative exploration between artist/filmmaker, Maggie Miller, and a group of celebrated musicians under the guidance of music producer, Mark Peterson and with special performanaces by Carla Khilstedt and Jenn Beast. Together, this creative team investigates the interwoven dialogue between moving image, music and sound.

BITTER WEATHER unfolds interwoven threads of illusion and reality. Through its non-linear narrative structure, montage techniques, original music, and animation, Bitter Weather affects a hallucinogenic experience. Much like Alice falling down the rabbit hole, we are thrust into a spiraling journey beyond our perceived physical boundaries. Bitter Weather expresses forms in nature – not visible forms, but shapes embedded in the fabric of motion – wanting to be revealed.
