Police Car Collective - 1980 (EP)

Full design for Police Car Collective's debut EP "1980". Throughout the campaign texture has played a big part in the design process. As the singles were busy with grunge imagery we decided to keep it minimal. Using a block colour pink which was rich in texture from scanned paper textures and by adding the Casette Guide Lines it keeps with the previous aesthetic of a grungy/nostalgic feel with simple typography on top. The Cassette colour combination is a nice, bold, contrasting choice, using yellow to brighten the artwork. I also designed Police Car Collective's Flower logo and their collective "JUNKMAIL" logo.
