Team GB - Tramuntana Roads

This short piece explores the feeling a rider has whilst cycling. When on a bike, you feel almost as though the world closes around you due to the total focus you have on the physicality of the exercise. This is in stark contrast with the power and scale of the nature that surrounds you; how your breath, which is all that you hear in the moment, is just a tiny part of the roaring ecosystem you exist within. This film will need to be viewed with headphones for maximum impact.

During lockdown, cycling sometimes felt like the only thing that was keeping me sane. Hopefully this film activates senses, immersing the viewer in the experience of cycling against backdrop of the Tramuntana roads in Palma.
