Siân Nuttall is a music manager at ATC Management, representing John Newman, Charlotte OC, Liza Owen and Roman The Cartoon. Here's our recent chat with Siân to discuss her favourite recent campaigns and talk about the overlaps between visual creativity and music.

All my artists have been busy writing new music over the last year and now we’re in the exciting phase of putting together all the creative campaigns and release strategies. This is always my favourite part of the process, although obviously at the moment its not without its challenges.

CHECK OUT

Creatively at the moment I’m loving Black Pumas. Heavenly blues mixed with psychedelic soul all woven together with the most beautiful lyrics. I can listen to them non-stop and the songs have a nostalgic nod but feel completely authentic. They’re so good live and their visuals are always great.

FAVOURITE VIDEO

For me the most creative and original music video of the past year is The Weeknd, Blinding Lights. I just love how weird and dark it is but also completely embodies the 80’s feel of the song.

BEST ARTWORK

I’ve always loved the album art for Tame Impala Innerspeaker and Rihanna Bitch Better Have my Money.

BEST COLLABORATION

The most recent brand collab that caught my eye was the Missguided And Sean John collab which was a real treat - the navy blue velour two-piece from that collection really upped my lockdown tracksuit game.

FRESHEST CAMPAIGN

The best creative campaign of the past year has been Omar Apollo. I really love his whole aesthetic, he’s really on the money with his visuals and creative campaigns. His videos are cool and have an ‘American Honey’ type feel to them, almost like short clips from a film. His visuals are the perfect marriage with his music, and that's what creative campaigns should do, it’s an extension of the music.

LOGO LOVE

I wish I’d designed the artist logo for Kali Uchi. Love her, and everything that comes with her.

GO FOLLOW

The one artist you should follow on Instagram is one of my favourite artists Sherwyn. His music is bloody brilliant and I love his visuals and videos.

ICONIC

The most iconic music photograph is Cher at Studio 54. If I could have stepped back into any era, I’d boogie my way on into Studio 54 in the 70’s.
