Will Harper, founder of Sequoia Music Management, started off at Epic Records in 2008 under Nick Raphael and Jo Charrington before he switched to Sony/ATV Music Publishing a few years later to experience life on both sides of the EMI merger. He now works for himself, managing hotly-tipped artist Raye.

Who is your favourite artist that you've worked with creatively?
Obvious answer, but I would have to say Raye who I currently manage. It's crazy to see someone of her age have such ability in the studio and on stage, and who puts so much effort and attention in to all areas of her artistry.

Which artist do you wish you were creatively involved with?
I really like artists who create their own lane and do their own thing rather than follow the crowd musically. So I guess, The XX, Drake or James Blake... Taylor Swift would help pay the bills though.

What is your favourite music video ever, and why?
Johnny Cash - Hurt. It always chokes me up. The song and the video work together perfectly to tell the story of the man.

What is the best digital campaign idea you have seen?
Taylor Swift taking all her music off Spotify the week of her album release.

Which current creative campaign do you most admire?
I really like what Oh Wonder are doing by releasing a song online every month for a year and then packaging as their debut album.

What is your favourite album cover of all time, and why?
David Bowie's Heroes: simple, classic and iconic. I also think he is the most visually iconic artist ever. Also Gorillaz, who were groundbreaking in that sense.

What is your favourite music photograph, and why?
Beatles landing in the USA to a mass of screaming fans. UK take over!
