Tape Op magazine cover illustration

The cover art I created for the June/July 2019 issue of Tape Op magazine started with a cyanotype image of XLR, RCA, and 1/4" audio cables commonly used by recording engineers. Some gouache paint and Photoshop manipulation completed the image.

Tape Op features interviews with recording engineers, producers, and musicians, as well as audio gear reviews, and is sent to over 70,000 subscribers around the world.
