Black Lives Matter – Protest Placard

I’ve been listening to Thick a lot recently. Their album, 5 Years Behind, feels incredibly relevant right now, but the song ‘Won’t Back Down’ really captures the last few months, for me.

During times like these, music is such a ridiculously powerful thing, especially empowered Punk Rock with a message. More than anything, the fact that this album would’ve been just as relevant 5 or 10 years ago, highlights where we have failed with change.

This design was inspired by the aforementioned Thick track, and later adapted with more direct messaging, and printed by The Jacky Winter Group, for the Black Lives Matter Protests in Melbourne.
