A Way From Home – Branding

A Way From home is a podcast hosted by BBC 6 Music DJ, Jon Hillcock.

The podcast features Jon spending time with a different person of interest, for each episode, where they take him through their record collections, and the stories behind them.

Initially conceived at a difficult time in Jon’s life, he saw this podcast as a way of getting out of his comfort zone, as well as a means of escape. He does a better job of explaining this in his introductory episode.

I wanted the logo to have a fractured aesthetic, with a deconstructed home and vinyl record forming the structure – representative of some of the pocast's themes.
