SJEF Camping Branding & Web Design

The Need:

SJEF Camping Adventures Inc. is a Vancouver-based adventure tourism company with an international reach that welcomes people to travel to beautiful British Columbia and go on guided backpacking adventures in the wild. The founders of SJEF were looking for a brand that embodied the rugged beauty of the natural west coastline of Vancouver, and the sense of adventure and harmony with nature one would experience if taking their tours. This website also needed the ability to have eccommerce functionaility and a custom booking management system to schedule multiple trips, package add-ons, and dates.

The Solution:

We started the project by creating a refreshed brand for SJEF that incorporated coastal colours and custom icongraphy and illustration work for the different types of camping adventures they offered throughout the year. We then took this branding one step further by creating social media templates, PDF catalogues, and UX design elements that would tie the visual identity together. The final phase of this project was designing a eccommerce website with a custom booking management system that would handle the processing and managing of trips. Despite this technically complex back-end, we made sure to put an emphasis on achieving a simple, clean, modern look on the front-end that spoke to the brand's clean asethetic.
