Adopted Thread’s is an up-and-coming anti-consumerist lifestyle brand. The philosophy is to take second hand charity shop garments and curate them into something new, proving that good fashion does not need to be expensive. This is a way of buying, recycling and re-loving something in an economically viable way, aimed at university students. A percentage of the proceeds from the items then go back to the charity shop which they came from. Some of the items have been kept as they were found, whereas some have been altered or revamped in some way, to reinvent the clothing into something new.
