As part of our continued collaboration with Condé Nast we worked on an episodic series of small films titled “Take A Walk.” We were involved in all aspects of this project from ideation all the way through to the final product you see above. The films were directed by Chris “MUG5” Maguire and were filmed over a couple of hot days in August 2017.

We are hugely passionate about these films and the results demonstrate the passion that was put into the creation of them. Each episode highlights a different up and coming influencer and demonstrates what a walk in their daily life entails. Added to each is an epic soundtrack that helps further tell the story of each individual and “unclassified” individual. Each episode was filmed at various stunning locations in a different borough of New York City that we at RIOT scouted (Manhattan, Brooklyn and Harlem). This visual range of the city allowed us to further make each story unique and individual, just like the influencers wearing their Reebok Classic Leather kicks.

This episode focuses on Hip-Hop up and comer Jazz Cartier (aka Jacuizzi Le Fleur). Jazz is seen walking past the Manhattan Bridge and through Chinatown to get creative inspiration for his music before entering the recording studio and laying his flow down like never before! We also get a glimpse at Jazz chilling in a classic Ford Fairlane before entering one of his favorite New York hot spots for lunch.
