I was born a Leo (in a Chinese Year of the Lion), but at that exact time there happened to be a countervailing air sign that was huge in a neighbouring house. Which means I have to have it my way, but I can't be *seen* having it my way. I'm what they used to call a Tekton, the one who pulled all the levers and made sure the infrastructure was there.

My talents are very much in the engineering rather than the production; I've had a 17-year IT career doing both Business Intelligence (the enterprise reporting solution for a user base of thousands) and IT Service Management from soup to nuts - Change, Incident, Alert, Problem, Config, Service, and all the integrations to tie it together.
