For me music and art have always gone hand in hand. When I first started teaching myself how to use Photoshop at 12 years old I would create pastiches of album covers or logos - my favourite that springs to mind was reworking The Cool Kids artwork for their album The Bake Sale in to ‘The Kebab Shop’ for a school project. Since that age I have continued to focus my creative energy on both music and art. For a while these practices were separate, during the time I was working within the fashion and print industry, but being a DJ myself meant I had always kept my eyes, as well as ears, to the underground music scenes.

Since moving to London these two worlds have collided for me in a big way. Aside from university projects, the majority of design work I have created over the past few years has been music related. Whether its creating fresh promotional videos for the hottest nights in the city, more experimental visual material for nights I help organise, or rave flyers for parties across the world, everything I do is deeply rooted in the world of underground music and promotion.
