Description 2

House of Mountains is more than just a designer. We can handle all elements of Conception, Production and Marketing, individually tailored to each project. We not only make your products look good, we believe our ideas will help them get widespread attention and critical acclaim and our record speaks for itself.

We are the in-house design team for both Fire Records, Earth Recordings, as well as smaller record labels such as Wild Combinations, Weird Walk and Soundtrack specialist Frost and new UK festival This Corner of England. On top of developing the majority of projects in either concept and/or design we also helped develop each individual brand, from logo design to overall aesthetic, whether its the companies social network profile or strategy or the design of industry events and market stalls, as well as all advertising and event materials.

Some of the projects we are most proud of include

- Pere Ubu - Reissue Series. 5 x Lift Off Lid Boxsets including the acclaimed "Elitism For The People"

- Bert Jansch - Avocet. Critically acclaimed 6 Art Print Edition LP that was reissue of the month/year almost everywhere and took an obscure 1970s instrumental album about birds, into the UK Charts.

- Bert Jansch - Reissue Series. Living in the Shadows Parts 1 & 2. Two 4 x LP Bookbacks covering the artists more obscure period in the 90s and 00s.

- Mikael Tariverdiev - Film Music. 3xLP, 30page perfect bound book in Hard outer box, charting the greatest work of this revered soviet era composer.

- Half Japanese - 4 Volumes of 3xLPs. From conception, production and marketing, we succesfully enabled a way for stores across the world to stock all of the Half Japanese albums in an affordable package.

- Halt And Catch Fire - Developed for Lakeshore and AMC. This cult TV show had its original score packaged in a stunning laser cut-outer, highlighting a key graphic in the series, with the original TV artwork shining through.

- A Scanner Darkly - Developed to celebrate the cult films 10th anniversary, we housed the original score (printed on a psychedelic marble vinyl) inside a key promotional tagline "Everything Is Not Going To Be Ok" to both capture the essence of the story but also the zeitgeist.
