Description 2

We're a filmmaking duo; one of us from a documentary background and the other from fiction. Together we create visually striking but narratively driven content for musicians and brands.

Hailing from a documentary background, KATE draws inspiration from reality and enjoys injecting the surreal into the real. She loves collaborating with other artists in all of her work to execute artistic and aesthetically exciting concepts. She shot her last short film in Palestine, which screened at Open City Docs in June 2016 as part of a curated programme "Sites of Conflict," and is currently in production on her first feature-length documentary.

Having worked as a producer and director before becoming a full-time cinematographer, FAISAL deftly plans and executes ambitious visual concepts from inception through until post-production. Growing up in Singapore with Bangladeshi heritage and now living in London he brings a filmmaking sensibility from these diverse worlds. He's also worked with a range of brands, including L'Oreal, Nokia, Glenmorangie, The Body Shop, and Unilever.

This year, FAISAL and KATE created all the video content for London Games Festival, collaborated with MIA's former drummer and feminist activist Madame Gandhi on a behind-the-scenes film for her debut EP, and shot the flagship music video for London-based indie band Death and the Penguin.

You won't find another duo like us, so don't bother trying.
