I am director and filmmaker Rosalind Jane. I like to use collage, animation, digital art, mixed media, and green screen to tell stories or create atmospheres that feel dreamlike or nightmarish. I like to play with the viewer with imagery that contrasts the flippant and colourful against darker themes such as fear and dread.

My mission as a filmmaker is to make music and campaign videos that are memorable and unique. I do this through surreal concepts and unusual aesthetics. I look at an idea from different angles and experiment with fresh ideas of mixing media. Props and backdrops are often hand-made and crafty, showing that the only limit is you imagination. For example, in my mermaid themed music video, the DIY approach to creating an undersea world, which mixed handmade and painted props with digital methods, resulted in far more interesting visuals than if we had actually filmed under water.
