My name is Sona, I'm a graphic designer & illustrator.

I have a solid educational foundation and passion for graphic design, printmaking, illustration, book design, music, web design, site-specific installation, contemporary art, cinematography and music. I completed the master’s program at the Department of Graphics and Other Media at The Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava (Slovakia). Furthermore, I was an exchange student at the Department of Communication Design at Designskolen in Kolding, (Denmark). Shortly after graduation, I moved to London.

I have a strong interest in all design disciplines and actively seek out opportunities to learn and challenge myself. Thanks to my varied experiences, I have developed my skills in different areas of graphic design and illustration, including website templates, brand visual identity or marketing materials. I’ve also recently started developing a personal art project “Sonda & Sin” where a close friend and I produce original screenprints in small-batch limited editions (sondaxsin.com)

In terms of my practical skills, I am comfortable with Mac OSX and have excellent knowledge of designing software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects), Sketch, currently developing my video editing skills in Premiere Pro.gr
