Artwork for Alice Dillon by aliza razell

For the young English folksinger Alice Dillon, I worked with her to create this album artwork which expressed her vision and her image. Alice's music is haunting and ethereal but alos very down to earth. We had a photoshoot with this image in mind, for her album On a Green Growing Tree.

The album's songs are traditional folksongs, but have often been rewritten or modified by Alice. To express the personal, hand-made touch of the music, we used Alice's own handwriting for the cursive lettering on the artwork.
